a WAR with the CHINESE - at one point I'm riding in a JEEP with G.W.Bush - he is driving which I am not happy about. We drive right up to the front line risking death to retrieve something. We make it back, but the attack had begun. My GUN did not work.

COMMENT - the rise of CHINA over the past 3 decades has been nothing short of spectacular. During the time of this dream it's possible that news of "currency manipulation" could have acted as a trigger.

This dream has some very basic action elements along with a highly evolved subtext. The last sentence says it all, "MY GUN DID NOT WORK". This is a highly recurring element, but not universal. I am ocassionally surprised when the gun works and actually kills the "bad guy".
