3. I'm spending the night among homeless people presumably to do research. They become aware that I am not one of them, but seem to accept me anyway - I tried to hide a NOTEBOOK COMPUTER while rebuilding the makeshift shelter one of these others had erected.

1. (most of this segment lost, except) a cat turns into a young black girl

2. MARIE drives me to the location of the homeless people - it was an unpleasant steep road.

[Log-NOTE]_ I remembered the dream sequence in the same 3,1,2 pattern as dream #67_b transcribed a couple of days ago - the ending, the beginning, and then the middle. At this point I realized how this memory sequence worked. AT WAKE I TRIED TO GUESS THE TIME ... 2:47PM ... WRONG 2:05PM - I stayed in bed eyes closed - very tired - some stretching to wake up

COMMENT - dream segment-1 is just the opposite of a dream transcribed two days ago and posted today (#4 - Cathy turns in a cat) - this dream segment was disconcerting. Instead of a cat I had a person.

Many times when I get up without an alarm clock I try to guess what time it will be - many times I'm right. Several mornings ago I was way off and mostly pleased because I thought I had slept longer. Meaning that I slept better.

transcribing these more recent dreams from the written account into the computer brings back elements not previously written. Some dreams in the past were written a few days later when I had time and the memory was still fresh. Here the act of typing helped stimulate the memory
