1. dream prior to BRB lost

2. I'm in a public rec-room watching a World War 2 movie on TV - a young guy thinking that I was through watching grabs the TV REMOTE ; I grab it back and tell him, "let me watch for 3 more minutes to see if another battle scene comes on".

(instant transition) I'm in a house with a couple of people. I'm not exactly sure, but I think I'm part of the German high-command. An American B-17 flies over and drops a BOMB not far away. I can FEEL the impact and blast wave. Next a P-38 Thunderbolt flies by.

(instant transition) I'm attending a military training seminar for American & British double-agents when a group of German attack. Hand-to-hand with wooden police batons. A couple of us make it out.

(instant transition) I'm making my way through France and find a boarding house sympathetic to the resistance movement. There are several young people there. I am of a less determinate age, but seemingly mid-20s. The spot I am given to sleep is next to a window with a STRONG COLD WIND blowing in. I talk with a young woman about growing a garden. I like her and want be with her.

(instant transition) I'm in another boarding house on the French coast. I can see the WWII ships going by and get a sense I'm in time not my own. The owner of the boarding house has 3 daughters and is waiting to give one away in an arranged marriage to a British aristocrat. The girl is attractive and pure of heart. I instantly fall for her. We are both young and have the same sense of the world. It was ENJOYABLE to spend time with her. Playful wrestling, walks by harbor, and a bit of French WINE.

The British man arrived. He is 40ish and homely. The girl rejects him and the parents marry him to one of her younger sisters. Just then a "dashing" young guy appears to seek the hand of the girl I have fallen for. He is late teens to maybe 20. Which is a couple of years younger than her. I fear she will reject me for him. I could sense my dissimilar time was more vulgar / worldly and I was poor. Even worse the "other guy" was a better looking, younger, more pure of heart, part of me. For whatever reason he left quickly and she paid him no mind.

During the wedding FESTIVAL the band is playing a SONG that makes fun of FAT PEOPLE and as I glance over to a plump girl she gives me a "go to hell" look. There were several fat people and a few old & ugly women. The GIRL is now with a friend. She takes my hand and the three of us walk off. I'm very HAPPY as it seems "I got the girl". The other girl was a mixed race from Tunisia. We all talked as we left. We were musing about our lack accent ; all American with no inflections _ [ AWAKE - phone call ]

"the girl" : esrly 20s dark brown hair ; 5'6" basic body frame nothing noticable petitie, large, nothing.

COMMENT (on dream content) FAT PEOPLE, old & ugly, mixed race, people speaking Greman & French. The diversity is far beyond my normal dreams. Then the transitions from one place to another, but all within the context of WWII. Finally there is the matter of the TV & the REMOTE. Obviously this kind of TECH exists in our everyday life, but actually a rare occurance in my dream life.

The factors which makes the dream more LUCID helps to create the longer narrative with EMOTION, SENSE of touch and so. So this dream occured from 4am to 7am. I remember thinking about my dream when I woke up at 4am, but put just enough effort in to know I was dreaming prior. It's also possible by not trying to actively remember allowed for a deeper interaction with the second dream.

Work is starting at noon today so I could sleep in a bit; Marie is off for President's Day.
