(2am-6:30) I remember thinking I only had vague impressions of the dream - VERY LOW DREAM STATE

(8am-9:15am) 1. My rich friend is driving 4 of us to the movies. I had to borrow a fat friends shirt and that's all I had on. My very attractivre date ends up sitting in the front and the fat friend in back with me. When we arrive I attempt to change in an open porto-potty - my date sees my naked butt and walks off. Later it is apparent she has no interest in me so I go back to "my room". It was NIGHT by then.

(fluid transition) When I walk inside a BLACK WOMAN gets out of the bed in the back room. She is thin late 40s, but looks older and haggered. She walks toward a side door that I think was there for the cleaning crew or management. Trying to have some compassion I tell her to go back to sleep. So I grabbed a different pair of pants and started to leave. As I get out of the door a man goes thru the "management" door and starts to rough the woman up. So I go back to help her. He is also thin, late 40s, with dark hair, and just shorter than me.

As a fight ensues I tell him that "I AM AN ACADEMY CADET AND I WILL CALL THE POLICE". Unphased he fights harder. I nearly beat him to death and call 911. I tell them my address and hang up. The woman starts to leave, but I grab her back for a witness. I quickly see that she is going to reverse the story to protect herself from her pimp. Turns out that she was actually a hooker and not part of the apartment management. Then another slightly larger man shows up - the first one had also mostly recovered. The fighting gets worse. Another man shows up and it goes to clubs and knives. I call 911 again, "you had better hurry there's 4 now". Very shaken I can't quite get the address right - the reply,"your on campus and need to call the campus police" - my reply, "well thanks for telling the first time".

I start running. There's a campus BUS about to leave so I hop on. Except one of the "bad guys has taken the wheel. I hop off and some hooker/hitman with suicide blond hair and a PINK streak fires some kind of cable gun at me and misses. I now have a SHOT GUN - I TAKE AIM, shoot and she is dead. She was on the phone with her twin just as I shot. I keep running into a very nice neighborhood. No luck - I keep running. At the edge of the neighborhood is a red neck trailer park with colorful trailers and a colorful police van - the guy that gets out reminds me of John Goodman. Something about them is not right so I JUMP & GLIDE to a steep terrace. I could hear the policeman say, "who is that guy?". There are some animals up there that are talking to each other and come after me. I tossed them down the steep hill just about day break. _ [ AWAKE ]

[Log-NOTE]_ cap; an extra 3 hour nap before the night shift that ends early due to heavy rain; no other physical exertion / landscaping. I didn't have any clothes laid out so I went to bed naked (a rare thing these past many years).

For some reason I was thinking about the dance committee scene from the movie "Class" (trying to go back to sleep at 8am. THE DREAM STARTS WITH THAT THEME.

COMMENT (on dream content/CODE) the HOUSE WITH SECRET PASSAGES (H-P) & VAGRANTS is a highly recurring element. Except this time it was an actual door that I accepted as somewhat natural.

I recorded this dream because of the way it started, the ESCALATING VIOLENCE (new code v0-v1-v2), and the detail of the people. The extended detail prompted a a new code (++) - I have been thinking about adding this code for a great many dreams I have not transcribed due to their length. Also while writing the comments I remembered the passage of day-to-night-to-day. While there was extensive talking ("") - NOT actual conversation ("*").

COMMENT (on transcibing) it took almost 2 hours to record the dream and comments.
