most of my dreams this winter have been low impact disjointed segments. It's very likely that the social stress during the early stages of the coronavirus pandemic affected me far less than actually getting the disease. I recorded several significant dreams from spring, summer, & fall. But none this winter.

Work has been reasonably steady despite the evenly spaced rain. More importantly there's been little stress in my home life. Aside from the endless drama supplied by my oldest step daughter. The younger one looked to have her personal life stable, but decided add some drama by continuing the eight year ritual of break-up and make-up in her long-term toxic relationship. Fortunately I've been able to do an extensive amount of landscaping to help avoid the drama, keep me in shape, and avoid "cabin fever". At any rate, the added workout should make for a deeper sleep and more vivid dream life.

NIGHT-CAPs -- I'm three weeks into no night-cap during the week ... weekend only Friday, Saturday, Sunday. I've substituted strawberry-cranberry juice for the blush spiked wine. Both are very similar in color which will help trick my brain into the change of habit to help lower my blood pressure. The night-cap, on the other hand, has allowed me to sleep soundly for fifteen years. So far I've not noticed a significant difference. Though it does take a bit longer to get to sleep.

DR-KNOW -- the coronavirus sidetracked my on again/off again book of philosophy: "Dirty, Nasty Hell...". Then my sidetrack ("Learn Anything in No Time") got sidetracked. I'm now posting videos to learn Spanish. It's quite possible I could learn the language in no time using my method ... THEN WHAT?? ... back on track ("Dirty, Nasty..")? Or continue the sidetrack ("Learn Anything..")?! Whatever the decision it will add some CONFLICT to my slumber.

TV _ having purchased the final two seasons of "The 100", Marie & I are nearing the end of the third season. We also just finished our mealtime TV: The Munsters. Hopefully we will find something good for our next series while we watch the two TV movies included in the set: "Munsters Go Home" & "Munsters Revenge". The 10-minute movie time has been comedy laden so perhaps some light & lively dream content will result.

** Both Sarah and Emilee saw their grandmother (Joan - Marie's mother) in their dream last night. Both of the dreams were distributed. I saw Joan the night my mother died ... Hopefully nothing bad is about to happen ... the following morning Emilee tested positive for COVID-19.
