We recently finished "The Leftovers". It was captivating and smart. Anyone who enjoyed "Fastforward" would enjoy this series. At only 28 episodes it leaves you wanting more, but the ending produces a very satisfying series finale. While the religious undertone carried throughout the series this is not a show for Bible thumpers. Nor is it a heathens' paradise. It carries a fine balance and holds most of the adult content until the final season. We are now watching the post apocalypse series "The 100" and find it very good.
