Ronald Gill died of cancer yesterday. RIP.

Mindy (aka. mi mi) our sweet old cat died just after the new year. Most likely as result of a series of strokes. One around Thanksgiving that left her blind in one eye. The next, came days after we moved in to the new home. A home she seemed to recognize from before. She purred as I held her minutes before her breathing became labored. Marie & I put her between us. Minutes later she was gone. It's heartbreaking every time the grandbaby asks for Mindy :-<

Driving regularly through the TORNADO zone, in winter, with the recent deaths, and with family turmoil ... it destroys the soul. It's really bad to count a year among the worse suck ass years in January. Given the date this year could top the list and truth be known; I've had some really sucky years.
