Four plus inches of rain fell on December 31 and kept me inside. Such days are almost always used to add content to this website. The continued cold and muddy ground will keep me inside for several more days. Time enough to add more movie reviews and food recipes (ect.), but the real problem has always been WEBSITE DESIGN: the "look & feel", the site navigation, page display and more. Since about 1977 I have coded in BASIC, FORTRAN, PASCAL, and C. All high level languages in SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT. Each had its own quirks and difficulties, but nothing like the ever evolving HTML language used in WEBSITE DESIGN.

I'm now seven and a half years into building this site and have amassed over 1100 files to navigate through. I personally coded each file start to finish except for three template files that comprise my "HOME PAGE". Each one of those files contain imbedded images that were once easy to code in HTML. Not so long ago a "bare bones" website like this would be generally accepted, but with attention spans set to zero people need distractions plastered over every page to provide value. Unfortunately those distractions provide no functionality. It's just information on top of information.

If time allows I will learn more web coding, but for now I would be happy to get pictures to load.
