Surprising gains by Ukrainian forces have disrupted Russian supply line in a "head fake" offensive. The reported southern offensive was actually an offensive in the north eastern part of the country. During the past few months of war, the Ukrainians have uncovered a critical weakness Russia's command and control. Consequently the hard fought gaines have been an embarrassment to Russian leadership. Yet even with the successful offensive, it's likely the Russians would prove far more formidable while defending their homeland. Just as the outmatched Ukrainian forces are showing.

At any rate, this post acknowledges the changing status of the warring parties and the fact that we are no longer treading water. In other words, the slow war of attrition has shifted in favor of the Ukrainians. It's not only a blow to Russian morale, it's very bad news for Vladimir Putin. He can't simply pass off the blame after having jailed, killed, or bankrupted his political rivals. He, alone, ordered the invasion. He, alone, sits at the top. Now Putin must face the folly of his own judgment. Hopefully he won't make a bad situation worse and become an infamous war criminal.

For the past 20 years Putin has consolidated power under the guise of restoring greatness to Russia. And to some degree it may be true, but his reign won't last forever and there's no mechanism to secure A PEACEFUL TRANSFER OF POWER in that country. So instead of greatness, Putin's selfish lust for power will bring the demise of his country .... no need for a crystal ball .... it's the verdict of history that such events are part and parcel of authoritarian rule .... In short, a power vacuum will swallow Russia. It may not happen today, tomorrow, or a year from now -but- IT WILL HAPPEN.

Much sooner the world has the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant to consider - while it was successfully shutdown a few days ago the fuel rods will require cooling for years to come. Therefore any grid failure would disrupt the cooling and send the plant into meltdown. We can only pray that it doesn't and hold our breath .... Even while the clock remains 1 minute shy of the 11th hour the situation becomes more fluid.

------------------------------------- (ADDENDUM 09-23-22 ... In a classic "doubling down" manuever, Vladimir Putin announced the enlistment of 300,000 former servicemen into active duty to aide in the fight against Ukraine & "the west". He also threatened to use nuclear weapons to "defend" captured territory.

THEREFORE THE APOCALYPSE CLOCK IS MOVING UP .... WE ARE NOW IN THE 11TH HOUR .... start making paper copies of vital information.
