My busy schedule over the holiday season prevented raising the apocalypse clock as I would have liked. Instead time has shown that seemingly important details only amounted to an ongoing war. Similarly, a week of news produced the same pattern of events following the announcement of Germany and NATO allies supplying advanced modern tanks to Ukraine. It should also be noted that the fighting season begins with a spring warm up just as the war in Afghanistan. So the clock will remain at 11_PM. The question we must ask ... is whether there will be a game changer or will this become another forever war only to be ended by the ouster of Vladimir putin.

Given the seriousness of this conflict, the route to a global apocalypse would still be led by a military conflagration. Although, as a war drags on, the possibility of global economic collapse grows evermore real.
