Today was one of the best and worse days EVER!! I had been editing some past articles. Some of my best writing ever when a GLITCH IN "THE CLOUD" pushed me to check the GOOGLE DRIVE APP ; having used this feature only once I began deleting files I thought were only in the cloud. Turns out the internal memory of my CHROME BOOK is unaturally linked to the cloud. Having learned my lesson long ago about FILE BACKUP ... most ... of my work resides on (multiple) thumb drive(s) ... most ... :(

You might NOTE 05-22-18 blog post : ** waiting for the magic to start ** ... Well it finally did about two weeks ago. I have been working quite happily ... until today. The files just mentioned were likely part of that magic - THE BAD KIND. Some hours later news of a death in the family only made matters worse.

(addendum 11-7-2019) I understand the potential benefit the cloud provides, but I do not want to be forced to use it!
