For the first time ever I wore out chasing cars before a little Remy. Granted, I had just finished a 9 hour work day, but after nearly two hours Remy was still enjoying "tracks & cars". During our extended play Remy connected track, chased down cars, and helped clean up. He loves the car carrier, but I think it's a total piece of crap.

Our previous "track time" was good despite being simple and abbreviated. The main concern then was limited playtime. Although Remy's inability to use the motorized BOOSTERs properly inspired going "old school". So our last "track time" was nothing more than a DRAG RACE using the new ramp. Even then, Remy didn't comprehend or perhaps he didn't appreciate the concept of BRACKET ELIMINATION. Overall, we had a good time. Ending, as usual, with him becoming bored and walking away .... not this time !

Last night our track time began again at his request. We had about two hours before his mother's date was going to arrive. So time was not an issue. The track setup is always an issue so again I started simple using the new rap. This time Remy helped make some of the connections. As an acknowledgment to Remy's continued interest, the track slowly became more complex. The playtime was so inspiring we both left a booster running instead of trying to save the batteries.

As the action slowed down we pulled out the both completed and unfinished parking lot DIORAMAs. Using sections of modified track we connected the dioramas with the other track and ramp. Then, with a little imagination and purpose, we "pushed" the cars around the track .... now the hard part begins .... CREATIVE TRACK SET-UPs for protracted engagement.
