The clock setting remains the same, but the circumstances have changed. The riot and insurrection at the U.S. Capitol building will likely be the last gasp of the Trump presidency. Just another bit of chaos that followed this "loose cannon".

Trump's impeachment following the insurrection will do little going forward. A slap so light it will fail to deter the next "strong man" wannbe. Fortunately there's an insufficient cohort of stupid people ready enter into armed conflict. And the few that are ready lack the mental capacity to inflict apocalyptic damage. That means the Coronavirus continues as the world's greatest apocalyptic threat. Not from the disease itself, but the economic cost may lead to an uncontrollable turn of events.
