This post comes quick on the heels of the last post which means the light at the end of the COVID TUNNEL was too optimistic. It was too soon after the various vaccines brought hope.

TODAY THE COVID CRISIS IN INDIA has reached a level of apocalyptic concern. Not so much in the near-term, but as a general worry that the Coronavirus will never be contained. Unfortunately the lack of good data has been as slow to move as in the previous administration.

Where are the numbers!!! HOW MANY BREAK-THROUGH CASES HAVE THERE BEEN WITH THE VARIOUS VACCINES??

WHAT IS THE EXPECTED DURATION OF IMMUNITY FOR THE VARIOUS VACCINES??

HOW MANY FEDERAL $s ARE BEING USED TOWARDS ALTERNATIVE VACCINE DEVELOPMENT? for example a nasal spray or pill vaccine.

WHAT'S THE PERCENTAGE OF ASYMPTOMATIC CASES IN THE TOTAL POPULATION?

This fundamental lack of data suggests that the media is continuing to fail in spectacular fashion. For these reasons and more THE CLOCK IS MOVING UP 20 MINUTES

While I feel President Biden is a capable leader, events may overtake his administration. Take the problem in India, for example. The economic fallout of a protracted COVID crisis will lead to a greater refugee / migrant crisis. Supply chain shortages have raised the specter of INFLATION. Further Covid lockdowns would in turn produce STAGFLATION and then the dominos would really fall.
