Yesterday the Biden Administration announced the deployment of 300 troops to Eastern Europe to shore up the defenses of our NATO allies. This move comes in response to Russian troops massing on the border of Ukraine. A UN Security Council meeting was held to discuss the matter. Afterwards, the Russian President, Vladimir Putin, announced the the U.S. was trying to push him towards WAR. While this could be some kind of gambit by the Russian president to divert attention from the rising Covid cases in his nation, the diplomatic rhetoric is becoming ever more tense.

Unfortunately President Biden has failed to point out in simple language: RUSSIA THREW THE FIRST PUNCH -- THEY MASSED TROOPS FOR NO REASON -- NOR DID THEY ATTEMPT NEGOCIATION PRIOR TO MOVING THEIR TROOPS -- so it's "shoot first and then ask questions"?!

As a consummate player of the Ultimate Game, Vladimir Putin should not be under estimated. Then again he needs to be reminded that Hitler invaded Russia and that the U.S. allied with them to repell the invaders. The best strategy here is delay without provication. Keep sending it to the UN .... Oh yeah, where does China stand on this issue?? Since Russia is unlikely to enter a winter campaign the clock is only advancing 1 minute..
