WAR, economic collapse

After taking a year off a certain aspect of this blog has proven relevant ... EVERYTHING TAKES
TIME.
Consider the current food and water crisis in Gaza. By all accounts people should be dropping
like flies due to starvation and dehydration. Fortunately that isn't happening. BUT WHY NOT?!
In most cases people die after 3 days without water and Gaza is located in a very arid region of
the world. At present the on-going war in Gaza has put a million people into the streets with
no food, no water, and no public utilities. SO WHY HASN'T THE DEATH TOLL INCREASED DRAMATICALLY?!
Maybe it already has. After all, we are far removed from the conflict and the internet is down in Gaza.
Therefore we must rely on the news media. Sadly the vast majority of reports create an unrealistic
expectation of the TIME needed for events to manifest. In other words, news outlets tend to
create a sense of immediacy that doesn't exist. In this case the food and water insecurity in Gaza
doesn't mean imminent famine and death. Obviously it will happen IN TIME, but predicting
the amount of TIME remains difficult. Since my last post was a year ago I noticed the issue of TIME
is an on-going problem of this blog. That's a bit ironic given the main feature of this blog is: TIME.
Some might consider FAKE NEWS the source trouble, but that's not the case. It's more a result of
anticipation and unrealistic expectation. Two-weeks into the war, for example, journalists decried a s
tate of famine across Gaza. Now, more than 100 days later, little has changed. While there's been news
of limited supplies entering the war zone, all accounts point to a need that far exceeds supply. SO WHY
HASN'T THE DEATH TOLL INCREASED DRAMATICALLY?!
No one can doubt the dystopian life in Gaza. In fact it must be truly horrific, but "apparently" not a source of
cataclysmic death. At least there's no "mainstream" accounts of famine induced death. That means people
are finding a way to "manage" ... somehow. Nevertheless media-driven expectation points to mass death by
dehydration given the length of the war. Also, now that winter has set in, many more should be dying of exposure.
Yet there's no news to support those EXPECTATIONs. In fact there are many unanswered questions. A chasm that
denies forward progress. Think about it, the mainstream media or any media, for that matter, have precious
few sources in the war zone to provide an accurate picture. So once again it becomes a speculation of
TIME. Right now it's anyone's guess how long the situation can last ... how long the people of Gaza can continue
to "manage".
While it's one thing to be a casualty of war, it's more tragic to become a casualty of famine or dehydration.
Currently the Palestinian death toll stands at 23,000 ; while the Israelis have only lost a handful since the
initial surprise attack (Oct.7,2023). Not a big surprise. On the other hand, past iterations of this conflict
have ended quicker with much less loss of life. Meanwhile with TIME dragging on we are entering uncharted waters.
We are entering into an area where actions become less predictable. Alternatively, that unpredictability increases
the probability of an APOCALYPSE. So we need the war to end soon. Otherwise the Palestinian death toll will expand
rapidly from starvation and dehydration ... IT'S ONLY A MATTER OF TIME. Then come the follow-on effects.
If mass death from famine happens in Gaza a day of reckoning will transpire. While it could simply bring an
end to the war, it could also expand the conflict. Either way the Israelis would have much to answer for. Yet
even if the war ended today there's no path to a peaceful settlement. So, for our purposes, TIME IS THE MAIN
VARIABLE and it isn't our friend. After all, who knows how long (or if) a famine EVENT will occur. Yet regardless
of a wider call to arms, the first stage of escalation happened two days ago with U.S. and
British forces bombing Houthi positions in Yemen. The action was taken after the Iranian-backed Houthi
militia stepped up attacks on commercial shipping in the Red Sea. Right now it's too early to make
predicitions and the true fallout of the U.S. bombing raid WILL TAKE TIME ... quite a revelation afer
spending the better part of 40 years following CURRENT EVENTS and making predictions.
While we can envision the future ... EVERYTHING TAKES TIME ... there's action & reaction ... strike
& counter-strike ... conflict and resolution. Alternatively we have to consider the broader context
that Armageddon has NEVER HAPPENED. God only knows which events (if any) will ultimately lead to Armageddon
... HOW LONG EVENTS TAKE TO MANIFEST & how bad it will be. Many, like myself, lack the resources to
maintain a fully stocked bunker. Yet it doesn't seem prudent to do nothing. So the APOCALYPSE CLOCK guides
a series of preparations as events spiral out of control. Still, the time on the clock isn't the real
concern. It's the action to take in regard to the time. So check the CLOCK SETTINGS to get the series of
preparations to help lower the preparation expense. It should also be noted that long-term survival in a post-apocalypse
world depends more on mental preparation than supplies. The people of Gaza are proving that as we speak.
Hopefully my book, "The Advanced Prepper's Guide", will be available for reference should the APOCALYPSE occur.
