The rainy season came early to North Texas. As a result, construction workers from Texas to Kansas have been sent the sidelines. Optimists would see clouds with a silver lining. Nature's way of levelling the playing field. An impromptu solidarity for those sidelined by COVID-19.

On the plus side, the extra time has helped my family with APOCALYPSE PREPS. With the CLOCK at 11:05pm it's time to have all the tools in place ... Hopefully you've been keeping up with the DR-KNOW APOCALYPSE CLOCK and the wildly speculative "Economic Apocalypse 2020" series.

I started the "Economic Apocalypse 2020" series six years ago just as the economic recovery hit full stride. At that time President Obama was halfway into his second term and I wanted to present the economic dangers associated with radical politics. After witnessing this weeks wild ride I could see many of my assumptions were incorrect. Before the COVID-19 outbreak was still possible, but highly unlikely. The economic trajectory leaned more towards a deficit fueled crack rather than an economic collapse. The economy WAS strong enough to survive most major jolts. An apocalyptic collapse would only have happen if hidden elements caused the credit market to seize up. Just as CREDIT DEFAULT SWAPS did in the 2008 banking crisis.

Now due to COVID-19 an explosive deficit could produce the apocalyptic shockwave noted in my speculative economic analysis. Fortunately there are a number of stabilizers so the U.S. economy has much less to worry about. In the short-term. However, as other governments and countries fail under the weight of the virus, massive inflation will cause millions to flee. Consumer supply chains will break. In the U.S. stagflation will turn to chaos as mass migration disupts the globe.

Though as frightening as these events could become, I do not want to cause alarm. These comments are intended to raise awareness. To help plan for the worse. Unforeseen events could bring a rapid end to this crisis. While newly enacted policies are now drawing it out. Clearly there's a long road ahead and God knows how bad things will get. Whatever happens I would like to remain your ADVOCATE. A trusted source to help guide you through this crisis. At the opposite end, government entities at all levels have done everything to create a path of least resistance. A way to ease their own burden.

Instead of LEADERSHIP some have taken the role of DICTATOR to ease their decision-making burden. Take the draconian measure of closing restaurants and bars, for example. INSTEAD OF WORKING to find "hot spots", infection rates, transmission sources, ect... ONE EASY ANSWER FOR EVERYONE. This kind of weak leadership will do little except kill an entire segments of the economy.

A more COMMON SENSE measure would have been to limit dine in access. Limit bus fares. LIMIT social activity until a measurable infection occured. Slow the economy rather than bring it to an abrupt stop. There are too many on the economic edge. Weak ass mayors across the nation have taken the easiest measures that have now reached statewide in California. These very early missteps are leading us towards ruin.

Obviously it's easy to criticize, but for those of us playing THE ULTIMATE GAME going on record could help turn things around. So for the record, I was pleased to see a serious side to Trump during the now daily press briefings. Whether that will hold is anyones guess.

Five weeks ago I had a change of heart on the ULTIMATE GAME. While I've have always seen my role as ADVOCATE to be the best expression my recent move towards the GAME OF LIFE has rapidly transformed into the "game of life & death". So for those like me, be vigilant. Calm the sheep, if you can. Remember that every prayer helps. Yet be assured that faith helps even more.

For movie fans like myself ... "The force is with me. I am one with the force ... The force is with me. I am one with the force ... The force is with me. I am one with the force."

(addendum 05-01-21) the ability to compartmentalize SCIENCE, FAITH, FATE, MAGIC, and so on ... is an essential trait for those who play "THE ULTIMATE GAME" ... GET THE COVID VACCINE - IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY ... much has been learned since Edward Jenner invented the world's first vaccine in 1796. That vaccine erraticated smallpox. Other germ theory innovations to penicillin, pastuerized milk, and clean public water. Faith is no replacement for stupidity ... science has value ... so just as much as the force is with me, knowledge is power!!
