A resurgence of COVID-19 cases has emerged with the reopening of state economies. The cases are mostly attributed to young people doing what young peole do ... socializing. While there's no news of a spike in the number of deaths the number of hospitalizations has been rising. The three month learning curve failed to produce any results so the media has once again taken an alarmist position. Consequently the adverse news reports are forcing an impossible choice among the various governing entities: 1. leave the economy open and risk THOUSANDS of deaths ... TODAY ... or 2. close the economy and risk MILLIONS of deaths ... TOMORROW.

WHAT CHOICE WILL THE IDIOTS IN CHARGE MAKE?!

Given the biggest story in 80 plus years you would hope the media would be part of the solution. Instead they are part of the problem. During the 60s, 70s, & 80s the news media was full of exceptionally smart people. Many of them forged in the firey crucible of World War II, the Cold War, and the Space Race. Since then the media has been overrun with "pretty faces" and political activists. The "smart people" retired, succumb to age, or switched professions. Thankfully Dallas, Texas has a lone hold out: Krys Boyd. She and her radio program, "Think", have been the only help in sorting through the Coronavirus mess. Besides her, no one is asking the right questions or presenting unbiased information ... for example:

1. How many restaurants have failed or on the brink of failure and how many people do they employ?

2. How many small businesses have failed or on the brink of failure and how many people do they employ?

3. How many retail outlets have failed or on the brink of failure and how many people do they employ?

THAT LIST OF QUESTIONS GOES ON & ON, BUT NO ONE IS ASKING ... NEXT ...

1. What are hospitals doing to increase ICU capacity?

2. What supply chain actions are being taken to increase capacity?

3. What fast-track programs have been instituted to increase the number of health care workers?

4. WHAT IS THE PROJECTED COST ($$) OF THE LONG-TERM UNEMPLOYED AND WHERE IS THE MONEY COMING FROM

WHAT HAVE THE IDIOTS IN CHARGE BEEN DOING FOR THE PAST 3 MONTHS?! ... HIDING IN THEIR HOME & PINNING THEIR HOPES ON A VACCINE??

THE IDIOTS IN CHARGE WANT TO STOP THE VIRUS AT ALL COSTS. EVEN AT THE RISK OF AN ECONOMIC APOCALYPSE. THE REAL GOAL SHOULD BE PROTECTING THE VULNERABLE WHILE PROTECTING THE ECONOMIC ENGINE THAT RUNS THE COUNTRY ... i.e. "walk & chew bubble gum" at the same time ... TAKE THE VIRUS SERIOUSLY ... IT WILL NOT BE STOPPED BEFORE OR UNLESS WE COMMIT ECONOMIC SUICIDE ... FORGET "FLATTENING THE CURVE" ... LET'S GET TO THE "BACKSIDE OF THE CURVE" BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE.
